CHHAPRA: RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s daughter Rohini Acharya on Saturday assured people of working for their welfare if she was elected as an MP from Saran. Acharya was holding a roadshow at Kutubpur, the birthplace of folk Singer Bhikhari Thakur.
RJD spokesperson Hare Lal Yadav said Acharya also garlanded the statue of Bhikhari Thakur. “People of the diara area told Acharya about the difficulties they face during floods, drought and other natural calamities.
She listened to the people patiently and assured them of raising the problems in Lok Sabha if elected,” he added.
NDA candidate from Saran and former Union minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy had also held a public contact programme on Friday.
